Spiritual renovation and restoration require continual choices that require us to say 'no' to less urgent invitations. Is saying 'no, thanks' a challenge for you?
What specific inward renovation is begging for your attention?
What do you need to decline so you can tend to this need?

Hi Linda, it is lovely soul searching list. A lot of work for me on keeping Bible reading plans.
ReplyDeleteThank you for today's reflection.
God bless
A soul searching list. Yep, I like the way you've put it, Ifeoma!

this seems very interesting.
ReplyDeleteSimple food for thought, friend ...
DeleteGreat questions, Linda! I look forward to working through this, this weekend. Blessings, friend!
ReplyDeleteCool! And feel free to share what you're discovering. You are a wellspring of insight, girl ...
DeleteLinda, I love this and I love your heart for sharing this! Thank you! Always a blessing to visit with you! Peace and many blessings to you, Love! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for spending a bit of Saturday evening with us here, Tai!

I love this! I am doing this same kind of thing in the discipleship group that I started at my church. I love digging deeper into who I am and how I am wired when it comes to my faith. Thank you for sharing and for leaving us with such a great tool. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteYou said it, Mary ... God is always calling us to something deeper and more substantial. I'm so glad that these questions are helpful!
DeleteHappy Sunday to you, too, friend! And hey ... we're 1/3 of the way through 31 Days!

Woo hoo! We are rocking it friend! I love we are in this together!
DeleteI love typing out my prayers. I keep them in a password protected file, Linda, and find that God really uses that way of praying to open my eyes and illuminate my understanding better than traditional modes of prayer. I know everyone is different in this, so I'm not saying my way is better for others. But it certainly has been so important to my spiritual walk. I love the questions you've posed here, my friend. They are thought-provoking and needed so that we wet our appetite for the Lord and His word. Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure trove, kept under lock and key for your Redeemer's eyes only. You have been a faithful prayer warrior for me, Beth, for so long ... thank you seems pretty insignificant.
DeleteMay God bless you in untold ways because of your faithful intercession, my dear sister in Christ ...
