In Which I'm Popping In For Just a Minute

Well, hello again, friends ~

Please don't call me a stranger.  It's just that I've ended up indulging in a bit of an unexpected spring break.  Unplanned, unannounced, yet quite needed.  And yes, enjoyed, I might add.

I'm sharing a bouquet of five favorite springtime posts from recent years.  Feel free to share if you'd like.  I wanted you to know I'm thinking of you this morning.  And promising I'll be back again soon.  I've got some good stuff lined up.

Promise.

    1. There's always another way to respond to what's going on around us, isn't there ...

Love the grace He gives us!

    1. Wow, Trudy, thanks for sharing with your fans! That means so much to me ...

I started my re-read last night ... what a rich feast Adam presents in such a clear and compelling style. I know that the resulting conversations are going to be thought-full.

  5. The photos are even refreshing! I'm glad you had an unexpected, yet quite needed break! I did purchase Listening Life as an e-read. I think I've stretched myself a bit thin with reads this month. :) A chance though to let go and let God take the lead though even if I want to get so much done according to my time table!

    1. Seems like alot of people are stretched thin with a pile of great books they can't wait to get into! I'm guessing it's because we've got all that social media input now whereas back in the day it was only our local librarian's advice we had to consider!

I can't wait for your take on The Listening Life ... especially in your role as a coach, Lynn. It's gonna be an interesting dialogue ...

  6. Thanks for offering up these gems. I've pinned the article on being our taskmasters--something I'm often guilty of. Hugs to you, my friend!

    1. I am, thanks! And for some weird reason I'm in no hurry to get back to the routine. Kind of odd for me.

I'm allowing myself that grace. No blog police around here.

    1. I just started my re-read the other night and was so excited to be spying great excerpts for our discussion that it took me HOURS to finally fall asleep as I wrote whole posts in my head!

    1. I was having such a good time with the computer closed down that I just kept on going!

A warm place would be most delightful right about now. Do you take boarders into your lovely home?

And wonder of wonders, everyone comes back to visit again. Why do we wait so long to do what we know we really want to do?

  11. Linda,
The only thing about taking a break is it's so hard (at least for me) to get back in the saddle again lol. Looking forward to listening in on the Listening Life!! I keep wondering if Spring will ever get here???
    Blessings friend,

    1. Yep, I was kind of surprised at my reluctance to jump back in. But I paid attention to what was going on in my head and I'm glad I didn't force the schedule.

I think you know what I mean ...

    1. We are harsh taskmasters, aren't we, friend. I find myself loosening up on this as I get older.

Gosh, I'm so thankful to give myself a break, ya' know?

    1. Enjoy your time away! We'll be here when you get back. That's why I like calling it an open house so people can come and go whenever they'd like.

Have fun! You deserve it, Michele ...
