Free * Advent Whispers

FREE

I will walk about in freedom,
for I have sought out Your precepts ...

For I delight in Your commands
because I love them.

I lift up my hands to Your commands,
which I love,
and I meditate on Your decrees.
~  Psalm 119:45 - 48  ~

  1. Linda,
So many people think that God's precepts or commands hem them in and limit their freedom....how far from the truth. When we follow His precepts and make them our own, what a freeing gift it truly is. Love the message of Truth here this am.
Christmas blessings to you sweet friend,
    Bev xx

    1. You're so right, Bev ... many of us tend to balk at 'commands' or 'precepts.' Our sinful pride and know-it-all natures keep us from finding the freedom and joy that come when we embrace God's loving, wise direction with our whole hearts.

Oh, the time we've wasted ...

  2. This reminded me of the saying, "There is no freedom without responsibility." Yes, we must obediently submit to God, His commands and precepts, if we wish to tast true freedom.
    Blessings, Linda!
