GIFT
The end of all things is near.
Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled
so that you can pray.
Above all,
love each other deeply,
because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Offer hospitality to one another
without grumbling.
without grumbling.
Each one should use whatever gift
he has received to serve others,
he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God's grace
in its various forms.
in its various forms.
~ 1 Peter 4:7 - 10 ~

we're surrounded by
the broken, the downtrodden
who yearn
for us to share
the grace and mercy
God has
lavished
on us
Your Advent Whispers have been a delight to see and read. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteDebby, thanks. I know this is an incredibly busy season of ministry for you. That you'd leave a little note is such a grace.
DeleteBless you, girl ...
I don't comment every day, Linda, but know I am enjoying these Advent whispers. :) This reminds me of how when we have received God's Gift of Love in Jesus, it won't stay passive in our hearts, but the love He gives will pour out to others around us. Thank you for all the thought-provoking photos and verses. :) They truly have made this Advent season more meaningful. Christmas blessings and hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that these little offerings have spoken to you, Trudy! Thanks for letting me know, friend.
DeleteChristmas blessings to you, to yours ...
I love how Peter reminds us to use our gifts for others and for God. Blessings, Linda!
ReplyDeleteWe do tend to cling tightly to what we perceive as ours, don't we ...
DeleteWhat a blessing that God has chosen gifts to bless us with! And the greatest blessing is sharing those gifts!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
You come bearing blessings!
