Congratulations, Jenn!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNurses never get the glory
and so often take the blame;
too big a caseload, the old story,
and Doc's got a tennis game.
They wear out their shoes so fast
and their feet are always sore
and when all is done (at last!)
there's someone wanting more.
Where would we be without them?
I would not want to know
for love's their professional emblem
and compassion their rainbow.
This all should offer no surprise
for they are angels in disguise.
Angels in disguise.
DeleteFor sure.
And your poem rings true as an apt job description for most parents, too, Andrew ...
;-)
Congratulations to your daughter!
ReplyDeleteBarbara, thanks!
DeleteThis makes me choke up, Linda. So proud of your daughter getting a 4.0 in nursing and for her motivation to do it for all the little ones out there who need her help. Remembering Tyler with y'all....
ReplyDeleteYes, we remember each other's little departed souls, Lisa ...
DeleteCongrats to your daughter in this pursuit of a difficult program. Our oldest granddaughter earned her BSN 2 years ago and I have a deep respect for what such a program requires. We were partying all weekend as well as our oldest grandson graduated from Grove City College magna cum laude with honors in biology as he prepares to head for the Moransi Select Medical Program at the University of South Florida toward his dream of becoming a doctor.
ReplyDeleteYay! Wow, a doctor in the family ... sounds like a good deal to me!
DeleteCongrats to you all, Pam. God is so good.
Way to go, Jenn!!! Nurses are the absolute best, hands down. I know she will be a loving and caring one.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to all, Linda!
She will indeed ...
Delete;-)
Very cool for mom and daughter. Both class acts
ReplyDelete* blushing *
DeleteCongratulations, Jenn! I am mighty proud of you who completed this degree and with a 4.0! GREAT!!!! I have a great niece in NICU and she wants no other nursing job or field! She loves it dearly. What a special field for you through your son's legacy!
ReplyDeleteYep, NICU, here she comes! Gotta believe God has a unique place for her ... and for EACH of us.
DeleteLinda, thanks for your kind words.
;-)
Congratulations - to both of you!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jennifer!
DeleteThis chokes me up, Linda. God is so good to redeem what is broken. I'm so glad that Tyler's legacy moves on to other little ones. Congratulations, Jenn! You, too, Linda! Love and blessings to you both!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful way to put it, Trudy -->'Tyler's legacy moves on to other little ones.'
DeleteJenn loved and cared for him so very, very well.
Congratulations to your daughter. Exciting times!
ReplyDeleteIt IS exciting! I'm so grateful ...
DeleteCongrats Jenn - you did it! Tyler is up in Heaven with Grandpa saying "Way to go Mom!" I am so excited to see how God will continue to lead you in the future!
ReplyDeleteThis afternoon I was imagining Tyler smiling at all the celebrating going on ...
DeleteCongrats to Jenn and her hard work! Blessings as she ministers to those precious littles.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam ...
DeletePrecious indeed.
Super exciting! What a beautiful lady......congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteShe is a beauty, inside and out.

Congratulations to your daughter Jenn. You (and she) must be so proud of that 4.0! So happy that Tyler's legacy lives on.
ReplyDeleteAdult learners do the BEST work ... so motivated, so focused.
DeleteI'd like to think that Tyler is rather gleeful right about now, looking down and seeing his mama so filled with joy and purpose.
;-)
Congratulations to your daughter for her amazing accomplishment! After going through such sorrow, I know the Lord has an amazing plan for her life! What a beautiful celebration you will have! Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteMarilyn, yes. I'm so very grateful that the Lord specializes in restoring those years 'the locusts have eaten' (Joel 2).
DeleteSo proud...what an accomplishment. So many will continue to be blessed...now through her nursing care on top of the compassionate woman she already is!
ReplyDeleteWell said, Jonathan ...
DeleteAs Little M said, 'congratulations on your gradulation!'
;-}
Oh Linda ... nurses have such an opportunity to minister grace and mercy to hurting people, don't they? And a nursing career that flows from what your daughter has experienced in losing sweet Tyler? It gives me chills to think of the blessing she will be to the patients and family members she cares for along the way. I'm so happy for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteLois, thank you. You've expressed yourself beautifully and with such compassion. Your own painful loss shines hope through your kind words, friend ...
DeleteCongratulations on your daughter's graduation! You must be so proud and grateful.
ReplyDeleteMay the Lord continue to comfort after the loss of sweet little Tyler.
Grace and Peace ...
Betsy, oh yes, I am so deeply grateful ...
