Let us therefore come boldly
unto the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy,
and find grace to help
in time of need.

For a couple of family members to turn back to the truth of God's Word. Thank you, Linda!
ReplyDeleteDear Lord,
DeleteWe pray with Lauren that Your tender, persistent Spirit will woo Your children back to Yourself, Your mercy, Your Word.
For Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
For our family as my mother passed away on Monday.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda, and God bless!
Oh Dear Lord, have mercy on Martha and her family. This is such a great loss. Cradle them close to Your loving heart even as You grieve with them. Give them rest for their souls as they continue this walk through the valley and flood them with the peace and hope only You can give.
DeleteFor Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
Linda, I am only here by God's grace; ran a consistent fever of 107 last wee, and both Barb and I thought it was the end.
ReplyDeleteBut I am alive, and recovering, and this was God's choice.
Won't be online much for awhile.
Dear God, Sometimes we don't know how to pray. Except that You'd have mercy on Andrew and Barb. And that Your will would be done in their lives. May they feel Your extraordinarily peaceful Spirit in their hearts and their home.
DeleteIn Jesus' Name,
Amen.
Linda, if you'd like to stay in touch, could you put in a friend request to Barb's FB page, 'Barbara Andrew Schmeisser'?
DeleteI'd be grateful. Love and support mean so very much!
Oh Andrew, I'm sorry but I'm not on FB. I will continue to be here at my online home and via email
Deletelinda stoll @ juno . com
One way or the other, we'll stay in touch.
DeleteAbsolutely. Please give Barb my email ... she can be in touch any time and I will respond. You know that I am praying.
Delete'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid'
- Jesus (John 14:27).
It shall be done, and thank you.
DeletePlease pray for my Preemie granddaughter Eleanor Caroline to grow stronger. She's just under 4 lbs. Please pray also for her Mama Angie who is still recovering from a difficult pregnancy, labor and delivery. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSweet Jesus, thank You for little Eleanor Caroline and her mama, Angie. Please strengthen their bodies, that Eleanor would grow healthy and strong and that Angie would recover from the impact of her pregnancy on body and soul. Thank You for a Granny that loves and trusts You with her growing family.
DeleteIn Jesus' Name,
Amen.
Thank you so much for praying for my family and for praying for others today. Truly our loving Father is glorified when we come to Him. And before we call, He is already answering!!
DeleteDon't you just love that God is not at all surprised by our needs, He's already at work, knowing the end from the beginning, working all things together for our good ...
DeleteI guess this is what trusting faith looks like.
Linda,
DeleteI wanted to let you know that my sweet little granddaughter is now home with her Mommy and Daddy! She came home on Saturday!! Thank you so much for your prayers. I am convinced they are part of this miracle. Only 2 weeks after her preemie birth, she is already home, without any problems, eating like crazy and already watching and listening for her Mama. God is so good to us!!
Oh praise God! And welcome home sweet baby girl ...
DeleteYou are loved.
I pray for Martha and Lauren's families and for Andrew's recovering during this time! I know I need to go back to work this fall, and pray I use this time wisely developing the skills, not get anxious and not push my own agenda but have Him lead me.
ReplyDeleteOh God,
DeleteSometimes we do love our agendas! You understand because You're a God of order and You've shaped us to be creative and motivated. And that's who Lynn is. As she develops her skills and gives her hopes and dreams to You, please free her from any anxiety that lurks, and fill her with confidence in Your plans for this next season. Surprise her, Lord, with the doors You open.
For Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
Prayer is the greatest gift we can give or receive.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Lord,
DeleteBless Victor in his writing, publishing, and outreach ventures. Thank You for his devotion to you ... and his humor!
Amen.
When I have no words, I groan to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to be my interpreter as I pray. Thankful for your offer to pray.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, My Friend!
Amen! Thank You, oh Holy Spirit for interceding and interpreting to the Father all those yearnings and pain that are impossible to find words for.
DeleteAnd thank You for Lulu and the impact she's had on my life for years and years now. I feel blessed.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
For the desire to keep writing
ReplyDeleteDear Lord,
DeleteMy online friend desires that You stir the flame of creativity and expression up once again. Thank You that You're the Author of anything good that we are or produce. I ask You to help her make decisions to take the pressure off herself and invite her to simply live her life in Your company. Bless her with peace and joy as she does so. And open back that yearning to put pen to paper in Your time, God.
For Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
Thank you Linda for your offer of prayer. May I always be found faithful!
ReplyDeleteDear Lord,
DeletePam is such a blessing, a ray of sunshine and a bright hope to so many. Thank You for using her to impact others through her creative energy, her beautiful gardens, and the interweaving of her strong faith in You through all she shares. Her desire is to 'always be found faithful.' Praise You, Lord, that by Your Spirit, it will be so.
For Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
Hi Linda, Thank you for praying: I ask for prayers re discernment about an important upcoming decision.
ReplyDeleteFather, I lift up to you my dear blogging-sister Jean. I praise you for the encouragement she's been to me, for the wisdom and insight you've given her to share with her readers. Now she's desiring discernment herself. We know you delight in such requests because it lines up with your desires for us. So I thank you ahead of time that as Jean relies upon you, you will impress upon her heart the decision you've ordained for her. And we praise you ahead of time for the clear direction you will give Jean! In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray, AMEN.
DeleteDear Father,
DeleteThank You for bringing Jean and Nancy into my life this past year. You have gifted them with spiritual wisdom which they have shared generously with others. Grow Jean's faith as she trusts You for discernment. You know every detail about her decision and she desires Your leading.
And thank You for Nancy's prayer. There's no need for me to expand upon it, for she has left everything in Your most capable hands. Increase her faith as she watches You at work in her sister's life.
For Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
Please pray for a family member who's experiencing some health challenges and waiting for the outcome of the medical tests. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYour visit is also greatly appreciated!
Dear Lord,
DeleteI so appreciate Margie and her online home, her warm emphasis on hospitality, the joy she shares in creating and arranging all things beautiful. Bless her family with a warm sense of Your presence during this hard time in the waiting room.
For Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
Aw, Linda … what a thoughtful post. Praying for YOU today, dear friend..
ReplyDeleteLord,
DeleteI praise You for Lois' faithful presence in my life, the encouragement she has been to me in difficult times, the wisdom I've gleaned from her own story and life trials. Surprise her with Your lovingkindness even this weekend.
For Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
Please pray for my daughter; her husband left her and their 2 year old daughter at Thanksgiving. She's dealing with depression, single parenting and starting life over. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteOh God, this is so hard.
DeleteOnly You know what Donna's daughter is experiencing, the pain of abandonment, the battle against depression, raising her little one by herself. Surround her with tender mercies, a healing touch, and clarity in her thinking. Draw her, and her sweet mama, closer and closer to Yourself. Do miracles, I pray.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
Please pray for my son Mike, who has had three back surgeries, and has been living here with me for the past eight years. An opportunity for a job has been brought to his attention. Please, dear Lord, May this work out for him, in Jesus’ name. Thank you, Linda, for asking for our intentions. God bless you.
DeleteOh Lord, this is hard stuff. So much pain and upheaval and unsettledness for Mike and those who love him. Please open the exact perfect door for him, his skill set, his life experience. Encourage him with Your faithfulness.
DeleteIn Jesus' Name,
Amen.
Linda you are so very sweet to pray for others. Girl, I am a prayer warrior and sometimes I get so bogged up that I truly don't know how to pray for myself! So for me...I have some extensive dental procedures this week and another Dr. visit that might involve an xray. I will leave it at that. But, I sure do appreciate you praying. Hugs and blessings to you sweet lady. Cindy
ReplyDeleteDear Lord,
DeleteThank You for Your faithful daughter. She loves to pray and teach Your Word and encourage the women You gather 'round her. May she experience again how Your mercy and grace are for her, especially during this time of tests and procedures. Calm her mind, bid her anxiousness far from her. May she know for sure the depth of Your tender care and sweet comfort.
For Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
So many prayers but no words to go with them................
ReplyDeleteThank You, Lord, that You read our hearts like a book, especially when there are words unsaid or unknown or simply not available. Assure Valerie of Your deepest love and steadfast wisdom even right now. Speak direction and peace, I pray.
DeleteFor Jesus' Sake,
Amen.
This post touched me this morning. Prayers for a FT position for my son instead of PT. The Lord knows. And praying for you this morning... Lord, You know all the needs and burdens on Linda's heart. Encourage her today. Fill her with the assurance of Your Presence. Bless her as she blesses so many. In Your Name I pray, Amen.
ReplyDeleteDear Heavenly Father,
DeleteJoanne is so right. You already know what You have for her son. I pray that You will make your plans clear to him during this uneven season of employment. Please meet his needs and provide in ways that leave him turning to You in praise. And thank You for Joanne's prayer here. She has encouraged me greatly this morning. Thank You for this online community of believers who do life together.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
Thank you for praying! And for creating a community of caring people!
DeletePraising God for every good thing ...
DeleteThis is such a lovely idea. Thank you for praying for the person I was meeting about Journey to Heal. We've done two sessions now and God is definitely at work. I would love prayer for walking well with her on this journey. Praying for you too!
ReplyDeleteAmen! I'm so excited to hear that you two are a match. So much of this kind of work is all about relationship ... and every facet is directed by the Lord. Blessings on you as you journey together.
DeleteThis is an awesome calling on your life, Lesley.
