Drink * Advent Open House

DRINK

I do love a big mug of tea early morning
and some mulled cider with a cinnamon stick on some afternoons.
And don't even get me going on hot chocolate in the evening
with a whole lot of whipped cream.

But just like summertime, it's the tall icy glasses of water
that keep me feeling healthy and alert, cleansed and full ...
and much less likely to launch into
some random out-of-control eating binge.

  2. Good reminder about water - in the wintertime, it is easy to forget taking in our needed water supply in favor of warm, soothing drinks.

Drinking in the Word is awesome, too!

    Blessings to you, Linda.

    1. Drinking in the Word, for sure, that's what we're yearning for. The Spirit quenches our hunger and thirst for the deeper things of God.

  3. I have a glass of unsweetened tea with a splash of raspberry lemonade in my hand almost all day long. But that hot chocolate--YUMMY!
