Oh it's so good to see you guys again!

It never fails to amaze me how unplugging does nothing but revive and reinvigorate and restore!  Combine that with a change of scenery and WOW!  I feel like a new person ... with a touch of jet lag.  My hat's off to you, South Carolina.

But boy it sure is good to be back together with you here this weekend.

SOMETHING BRAVED

Take courage my heart
Stay steadfast my soul
He's in the waiting
He's in the waiting
Hold onto your hope
As your triumph unfolds
He's never failing
He's never failing

SOMETHING ACHIEVED
I've always been a bit of a hunter / gatherer type.  Ferreting out 'good stuff cheap' has always been a passion.  Hunting for rebate forms on store shelves in the '80s.  Beachcombing.  Sifting through boxes at flea markets.  Scouting out the bag sales at local libraries.

And now I'm enjoying the thrill of the chase online, searching out the best e-book deals ... the subjects, authors, and titles we've been talking about for years.

From Sarah Bessey to A.W. Tozer.  Chip & Joanna to the Bronte sisters.  Henri Nouwen to Karen Kingsbury.  Holley Gerth, too.

Right now there's 130+ titles waiting for you to scroll through.  Some come and go in the blink of an eye and others seem to hang around for a month or so.  Thanks to all of you who are dropping by on the regular to check out the latest finds.  Yes, I am an Amazon Associate, and yes, I make a small profit when you go shopping at Amazon through these links, at no extra cost to you.

But I'm really investing the time simply for the love of the hunt and the joy of sharing these often illusive treasures.  Would you please spread the word to all your bookish and / or bargain-hunting friends and fans?  They'll thank you for it ... and I will, too.

Think spring ~

P.S. #1
Yes, that snapshot is a statue of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals ... and yes, that's a real live gecko on his head.  You can't make this stuff up.  Seriously.

P.S. #2
Here's the cherry crocs.
